Interesting theory. Is that just for bacteria, or also theoretically possible for other creatures like "multi cell" organisms?

I am not too sure. My professor is really good at finding interesting theories, but he only tells us his opinion on the matter and not the full details of them. I think it may just be for bacteria though, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone was out there saying this was possible for multi-cellular organisms.
